Folding Hand Saw: Safer, Cleaner Cuts Around the Garden

A compact folding saw gives gardeners more control than trying to force thick branches through small pruning shears. The folding blade is easy to carry and stores more safely between jobs.

Choose the right branch

Use the saw for branches that are too thick for clean shear cuts. Check the area around the branch, wear gloves and eye protection, and keep your free hand away from the cutting path.

Let the teeth work

Begin with short controlled strokes to establish a groove, then use the full blade without excessive downward pressure. A steady rhythm reduces binding and produces a cleaner result.

Clean before folding

Remove sap and debris, dry the blade and apply a light protective oil when needed. Confirm that the blade lock is fully engaged before use and fully released before folding.
